Mindfulness applied to my life, my yoga practice and my teaching of yoga, along with Socrates wisdom has taught myself the value of living in the moment and the gifts from the universe that can be found when you are present in each moment. Millman (2000) describes mindfulness as treating no moment as ordinary the quality of each moment depends not on what we get from it but rather the attention and awareness that we bring to that moment.
